IDLE Setup

    It is convenient to change the Startup Window default:
    Options > Configure IDLE... > General > Open Edit Window > Apply > OK
    Close the window and re-open it.
    An empty IDLE Edit Window should now be displayed.

    IDLE is a text editor that is sensitive to Python requirements.
    Many of the menus and their items will already be understood.
